The combination of coffee and cocktails doesn’t really need an introduction…
Set to satisfy two desires at once, our double dose of Espresso Martinis are perfect for a pick-me-up or a post-dinner treat!
The Espresso Martini was first created by famed bartender Dick Bradsell back in 1983, when a young lady asked him for a drink that would ‘wake me up, and then cheer me up’ - the perfect way to describe the drink!
Vodka was all the rage at the time and Dick Bradsell worked next to the hot drink station in a Soho Brasserie. Opting to combine freshly made espresso with two types of coffee liqueur, vodka and sugar syrup, he created the ‘Espresso Vodka’ - the very first Espresso Martini!
As its most famously known, the key to a good Espresso Martini is the creamy foam head which adds texture to the drink. To create this, the original Espresso Martini recipe calls for a shot of ristretto espresso which has been left to cool. We’ve taken this logic and brought it on-trend by simplifying the mixing process with our favourite Sandows Cold Brew so you can enjoy your Espresso Martinis tout de suite!
We’ve teamed up the Espresso Martini with our in-house supersweet salted caramel twist on the classic cocktail.
Sweet-toothed tipplers, you’re in for a treat with our Salted Caramel Espresso Martini!
Named an on-trend flavour in 2008, salted caramel is now one of the most popular sweet-meets-salt balances that instantly entices the taste buds.
Our twisted Espresso Martini ups the sweetness, but keeps the coffee at the heart of every sip.
We suggest serving this one with a wedge of fudge on the rim of your glass for an added moment of indulgence!
