Created by Dick Bradsell during the 80’s London cocktail revolution, the refreshingly citrus Bramble came to life in Fred’s Club, a stylish downtown Soho Bar.
The cocktail is a British take on the Singapore Sling and was inspired by Bradsell picking fresh blackberries on the Isle of Wight where he grew up.
The Bramble is a refreshing well-balanced cocktail and one of the most widely known gin-based concoctions.
How to make the perfect Bramble cocktail
- 25ml Gin
- 15ml Sugar Syrup
- 20ml Limoncello
Method: Add gin and limoncello to shaker filled with ice. Shake well then strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Trickle the sugar syrup over the top to achieve the Bramble mixing effect. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
