Did you know you can take to the water this summer with a gin in hand?

We've just the tonic for those summer days when you want to spend time enjoying the sunshine while sipping a G&T.

It is safe to say the UK has fully embraced the gin resurgence.

Last year, Brits spent £40m buying gin as annual sales rose 16% breaking the £1bn barrier. Dubbed the 'year of the gin', the resurgence saw distilleries pop up across the country as festivals dedicated to the spirit made their way into our drinking calendar.

With the spirit showing no signs of slowing, there's now a new way to enjoy a gin or two across summer as you can swap your back garden for a boat and hop on board for a gin-fuelled tour.

From Edinburgh to Bristol, we've rounded up six of the best gin cruises on offer across the UK so you can get ready to sip while you sail.
